Ms Annalise’s Yr6.2 class learned about minibeasts and their importance for healthy composting. They also learned how the minibeast’s shape helps them live in their own habitat. Later on they played the Minibeast Game in the school yard where each of the children played the part of a different minibeast and they all had to help compost the make-believe soil. As a follow-up lesson (as part of a creative lesson) the children had to invent and write about crazy creatures who live in the most awkward and improbable places like inside an electrical wire!
